Elizabeth Bower Kent is a dedicated Chicago injury attorney with nearly 30 years of extensive courtroom experience. After more than a decade in public service advocating for victims of crimes as a Cook County Assistant States Attorney, Elizabeth transitioned into private practice to represent workers injured on the job and individuals injure  in personal injury cases. For the past 20 years, she has focused exclusively on helping clients navigate Illinois Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury litigation. 

Elizabeth clerked and worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for over 12 years. She prosecuted high-stakes felony cases, including jury trials for first- degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated stalking, and other Class X felonies at 26 th and California. Elizabeth handled over 350 preliminary hearings and more than 400 bench trials and centered some of her years in the felony Domestic Violence unit, handling complex and sensitive cases. This intensive background required her to work daily with law enforcement, forensic experts such as DNA and Fingerprinting analysis, and medical professionals to build cases for trial, and uses this experience to represent her clients today.
